Notice To Pet Owners: No pets are permitted in the museum or external display areas, except for assistance dogs. Pets are permitted in the car park.
Changes To Normal Opening Times
Re-Opening to Visitors in July 2020
We are pleased to announce that we will be welcoming visitors to the Museum to offer the opportunity to enjoy our outside spaces during these challenging times.
We will be open in July on;
Opening times are from 12.00pm to 5.00pm (last admissions 4.00pm)
£2.00 per person (accompanied children under 8 years of age free)
Annual pass holders admitted free of charge
There is no need to pre-book a visit and no restriction on the time spent at the Museum.
Our re-opening has been organised to comply with Covid-Secure guidelines and will be reviewed on a regular basis. The facilities we are able to offer might be modified or suspended as the situation requires.
The health and safety of our staff, volunteers and visitors is our highest priority. We want to ensure you feel safe and comfortable when visiting and will do everything we can with social distancing and capacity restrictions if necessary. Please be aware that we will not have any open cockpit access for the foreseeable future; the Museum buildings will be closed, the shop and tea room will not be open and that we are unable offer any toilet facilities.
If you decide to visit the museum, we kindly ask that you respect the safety measures that we have put in place and follow the guidance of our staff and volunteers. The museum can only remain open if everyone adheres to the rules. Thank you in advance for your co-operation.
All visitors to the museum will be requested to provide contact details as required by the Government before access to the site will be allowed, to save time you could bring a slip of paper with these details already provided
We will only accepting contactless card payments.
Please wear sensible footwear as all areas are grassed or gravel surfaces
Please remember to bring bags or containers with you to take home any waste materials that your visit generates e.g. food packaging, drinks containers etc.
Your entry will be conditional on various criteria being met
We reserve the right to refuse admission to the Museum on the following grounds:
Any visitor who appears to have symptoms of Covid-19
Any visitor who does not keep to our social distancing regulations, even when asked
Any visitor who does not use hand sanitiser on entering the museum
Any visitor who is not willing to leave a contact name and either telephone number or e-mail when asked to maintain the test, track and trace regulations
Any visitor whose post code is from an area that is currently locked down
During the pandemic exposure to Covid-19 is an inherent risk in any public location where large numbers of people are present. Covid-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to serious illness or death. According to Government guidance certain groups of visitors are potentially more vulnerable. By visiting the City of Norwich Aviation Museum, you voluntarily assume responsibility for risks related to the potential exposure to Covid-19. Help us keep each other healthy, have a safe visit.
Anyone visiting the museum is asked to adhere to the following Covid-Secure requirements, this to help ensure everyone’s safety:
Follow the signs to the entry point from our car park and leave the Museum site as directed only through the separate exit.
Maintain a safe social distance from other groups at all times (currently 2m) and follow any signage / directional markings
If your group contains children please make sure that you look after them during your visit, and please do not let them run off.
Use hand sanitiser, this will be available at the entry point (bringing your own hand sanitiser is also advised)
If you cough or sneeze catch it with a tissue, and put it in your bag or waste receptacle
If you feel more comfortable you can wear a face mask, but this is not compulsory.
Please do not visit if you feel unwell, and leave the museum immediately if you feel unwell during your visit
Notice for concessions: Starting on 1st April 2020 we will raising the age for concessions from 60 years to 65 years.

We would like to thank all our our supporters who have purchased an Annual Admission Pass.
Due to the corona virus situation, these cannot presently be used, so we have decided to extend all passes which have an expiry date of March 2020 and later to December 2021.
If you would like to support the City of Norwich Aviation Museum, you can now buy both family and individual passes valid until December 2021 on ebay. Passes remain at their normal price of £25.00 for a family and £15.00 for an individual.
We will acknowledge receipt of payment for new passes via ebay and these will be posted from the Museum office after a safe return has been allowed.
