A busy day for group visits
25th February 2012 (Saturday)
Today we had two groups visiting the museum.
The first was Holt's Battlefield Tours, based in Surrey.
They brought a coach with 29 visitors, as part of their Norwich weekend.
After visiting our Nimrod and Vulcan, they had a coffee in the tearoom whilst listening to a talk by one of their party.
She had been based at RAF Horsham St Faith after the war, and had several amusing incidents to relate.
They also enjoyed looking round the museum.
The second group was the Alfa Romeo owners' club.
About 15 people arrived in 8 cars and they were pleased there was just enough room in the car park for the first 6 cars to park next to each other.
Again, they visited the open aircraft and enjoyed looking round the museum.
A big thanks to all our volunteers who helped on the day.
